Unit 3: Exercise: Work with Security Defaults

Enable Security Defaults

Steps:

• Sign in to Microsoft Entra admin center.
• Go to Identity → Overview → Properties.
• Select Manage security defaults.
• Set Enable security defaults to Yes.
• Select Save.

Disable Security Defaults

Security defaults must be disabled if Conditional Access is used.

Steps:

• Go to Microsoft Entra ID → Properties.
• Select Manage security defaults.
• Set Enable security defaults to No.
• Select a reason and save.
