Unit 3: Exercise: Work with Security Defaults
Enable Security Defaults
Steps:
- Sign in to Microsoft Entra admin center.
- Go to Identity → Overview → Properties.
- Select Manage security defaults.
- Set Enable security defaults to Yes.
- Select Save.
Disable Security Defaults
Security defaults must be disabled if Conditional Access is used.
Steps:
- Go to Microsoft Entra ID → Properties.
- Select Manage security defaults.
- Set Enable security defaults to No.
- Select a reason and save.
