Unit 8: Exercise – Add app roles and assign users

Create an app role

Go to App registrations → Demo app.

Select App roles.

Select Create app role.

Enter

Display name: Survey Writer.

Value: Survey.Create.

Description: Writers can create surveys.

Enable the role.

Select Apply.

Assign users to roles

Go to Enterprise applications → Demo app.

Select Users and groups.

Select + Add user/group.

Select users or groups.

Choose the role.

Select Assign.
